In a bid to offer hassle-free connectivity between Hyderabad and America, Indian flag-carrier Air India will start non-stop flight from the city to Chicago from today. This comes close on the heels of the launch of the non-stop Bengaluru-San Francisco service.

Air India’s First Direct Flight From Chicago to Hyderabad
On Wednesday, Air India operates AI 108, the first-ever direct flight from Chicago to Hyderabad. The flight left Chicago on time at 2130 hrs (Local Time/LT) on January 13 and arrived at Hyderabad at 0040 hrs(LT) on January 15.

From Hyderabad to Chicago
The return flight AI-107 from Hyderabad to Chicago which operates once a week every Friday will depart from Hyderabad at 1250 hrs to arrive in Chicago at 1805 hrs(LT) on the same day.
Air India has deployed its Boeing 777-200LR aircraft with a seating capacity of 238 seats including 8 First Class, 35 Business Class,195 Economy class configuration besides 4 Cockpit and 12 Cabin crew.
Air India Hyderabad-Chicago-Hyderabad Flight Schedule
As per Air India, the flight AI-107 from Hyderabad to Chicago would operate once a week every Friday, departing from Hyderabad at 12.50 pm to arrive in Chicago at 6.05 pm (local time) the same day.
The return flight AI-108 from Chicago to Hyderabad will operate every Wednesday leaving Chicago at 9.30 pm (local time) to arrive in Hyderabad at 1.40 am by Boeing 777LR aircraft.

Currently, The flag-carrier operates direct flights from Delhi to New York, Newark, Washington DC, San Francisco, and Chicago, from Mumbai to Newark and New York, and its newest addition from Bengaluru to San Francisco.
Air India has been mobilizing all its resources in its epic mission to fly people, left stranded due to the air route restrictions, back home. As per the Ministry of Civil Aviation, 13,814 repatriation flights were operated by the Air India Group under the Vande Bharat Mission till January 12, carrying over 18.51 lakh passengers. Of these, 6,904 were inbound flights carrying 11.18 lakh passengers and 6,910 were outbound flights with 7.32 lakh fliers.
