National carrier, Air India on Saturday in a tweet informed that the airline will operate 6 additional flights between India and UK starting from 06th Jan 2021.
All these additional flights will be operated between London Heathrow and Mumbai, Delhi on 06-08 Jan 2021.

The airline further informed that these flights are in addition to the regular flights and bookings for the same are open through Air India Website, Booking Offices, Call Centre and Authorised Travel Agents.
Air India in another statement said that the passengers who booked their flight on December 23 will be accommodated in the first flight out.
Moreover, the Ministry of Health issued detailed guidelines and SOPs for passengers arriving from the UK and said that all the passengers arriving from the United Kingdom should be carrying a Negative RT-PCR Test Report for which the test should have been conducted within 72 hours prior to undertaking the journey.
The negative test report also need to be uploaded on the online portal (www.newdelhiairport.in)
