Air India To Operate 5 Additional Flights Between Delhi And Tel Aviv

Indian national carrier, Air India will operate 5 additional evacuation flights on the Delhi-Tel Aviv-Delhi sector under the Vande Bharat Mission.

As per the schedule placed by the airline all the flights will be operated between November 2020 and January 2021:

The process of booking and eligibility of passengers who can travel on these flights would remain the same.

Initially the tickets for these flights can be booked through Air India Offices, Air India Website, Air India Mobile Application, Air India Call Centre. Subsequently this facility of booking the tickets would also be extended to travel agents.

Eligibility for travel from Israel

  • Indian Nationals/PIO/OCI card holders are eligible to book ticket on these flights.
  • Foreign Nationals Including Israeli Citizens (including their dependents on appropriate category of dependent visa) intending to travel for any purpose except those on tourist visa are allowed to travel on this flight.
  • All existing visas holders except electronic visa/tourist visa/medical visa are entitled to travel.

It is mandatory for each passenger to first register with Embassy of India in Israel through the link : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScJ0qo5uBm_QcevZeg4lrp4SoctuzxV5sg1yZGM-4H1aDoBwg/viewform?gxids=7757

Each passenger needs to register with Israel Ministry of Health Website within 24 hours of departure of flight and have clearance from them through the link : Departing passengers (English) – https://go.gov.il/depart-from-israelen

All passengers who have connecting flights from Delhi and want exemption from Institutional Quarantine need to have a COVID Negative test report (RT-PCR) which should have been done within 96 hours of departure of their flight from Israel.

Each passenger needs to register on the https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration and fill up the Self reporting form before departure from Israel.

Eligibility for travel from India

  • Israeli National Passport holders are eligible to book ticket on these flights from India to Israel.
  • Foreign Nationals Including Indian Citizens can travel only if they have special approval from the Population and Immigration Authority of Israel or from Embassy of Israel in India.
  • Each passenger needs to register with Israel Ministry of Health Website within 24 hours of departure of flight from India and show the clearance at the time of checkin in India through the link :

It is advisable for passengers to have COVID19 negative report which has been conducted within 96 hours of departure of flight.
