The Indian government announced Air India’s flight schedule from Kuwait in the first week of August under Phase 5 of the Vande Bharat Mission (VBM).
According to the flight schedule, the national carrier will operate 5 flights from Kuwait to India which includes flights to Chennai on August 2, Hyderabad on August 3 Bengaluru (August 4) Delhi (August 5), and Mumbai on August 6.

In addition to VBM services, several charter flights were canceled last week, which caused major problems for passengers.
Most of them lost their jobs in Kuwait. Many had left their homes and hoped to be able to leave the country before the end of this month.
The cancellation of flights forced them to stay behind and look for accommodation.
According to sources, Indian civil aviation had stopped all flights from Kuwait by the 31st of this month. The start of the Air India service from the 1st week of August gives them hope.
