Air India Open Sale For Vande Bharat Mission Flights For USA

The national carrier Air India said that it has opened the sale of Vande Bharat Mission Phase 5 flights between USA and India, from today.

The flights will start operations from 29 July till August 30 from major Indian cities including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai, Kochi and Bengaluru.

Bookings are available via the airline’s official website or through authorized travel agents.

The airline had previously announced 180 flights to the U.S. as part of the fourth phase of the Vande Bharat mission starting July 22.

Air India recently announced the fifth phase of the Vande Bharat mission to rescue stranded Indians to international destinations and rescue stranded Indians.

The airline also announced plans to increase the number of flights in the upcoming phase.

The fourth phase of the Vande Bharat mission brought back up to 2.5 lakh Indians from 53 countries around the world.A total of 1,197 flights have been planned as part of Phase 4 of the Vande Bharat mission, including 945 international flights and 252 feeder flights, MEA spokesman Anurag Srivastava said at a press conference.
