Air India International Flights On December 05 Under Vande Bharat Mission

The Govt. of India on May 06, 2020, has started the ‘Vande Bharat Mission’ to repatriate Indians stranded all over the world due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Indian national carrier Air India and its wholly-owned subsidiary Air India Express have already announced their schedule for the month of December 2020.

In December 2020, Air India will operate flights from Bangkok, Colombo, Kuwait, Nairobi, Rome, Singapore, Sydney, Tel Aviv, and Yangon.

While Air India Express will operate over 700 flights from 6 countries viz. Bahrain, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Singapore, and UAE under the Vande Bharat Mission and Air Bubble Arrangements.

As per the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), 10,350 repatriation flights were operated by the Air India Group under the Vande Bharat Mission till December 1, carrying over 13.38 lakh passengers. Of these, 5,173 were inbound flights carrying 8,33,554 passengers and 5,177 were outbound flights with 5,04,961 fliers.

The Vande Bharat Mission is currently in its Phase 7 which will continue until 31st December.
