Budget carrier Air India Express has announced its schedule for March 2021 under the Air Bubble and Vande Bharat Mission. As per the schedule published on its website the airline will operate a total of 1534 flights to/from India to 8 countries.
Air India Express on its official website published the schedule for all flights being operated by the airline in March 2021; The airline will operate flights to/from Bahrain, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and UAE.
Air India Express Flight For March 2021
Bahrain
Air India Express has scheduled to operate a total of 24 flights between India and Bahrain in March 2020 under the Air Bubble Agreement signed between both countries. These flights will be operated To/From Bahrain to India’s Trivandrum, Kochi, Kozhikode, and Kannur.
Kuwait
Air India Express on its website said that it will operate 73 flights between Kuwait and India under the air bubble arrangements in March 2021. The airline will operate flights to/from Kuwait to India’s Hyderabad, Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Kannur, Mangaluru, Trichy, Trivandrum, and Vijayawada.
Malaysia
Air India Express to operate 74 flights between Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and India’s Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Trichy, and Vijayawada under the Vande Bharat Mission Phase 9+ in the month of March 2021.
Oman
Air India Express will operate a total of 184 flights between Oman and 14 Indian cities, this includes flights to/from India’s Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Trichy, Trivandrum, and Vijayawada. All these flights will be operated under the air bubble arrangements.
Qatar
AI Express has announced that it will operate around 36 flights between India and Qatar under the air bubble agreement; These flights will be operated between Doha, Qatar, and India’s Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangaluru, Trichy, and Vijayawada.
Saudi Arabia
Air India Express has also published the schedule for flights to/from Saudi Arabia but the country has not yet lifted the travel ban and extends the suspension for entry of non-citizens, diplomats, health practitioners, and their families coming from 20 countries including India.
“Our planes are flying empty to Saudi Arabia & are bringing back our citizens stranded there. We will be able to carry Saudi Arabia-bound passengers once the travel restrictions on Indians are eased by Saudi Arabia,” said Hardeep Singh Puri.
Singapore
Air India Express has also announced that it will operate over 100 flights to/from Singapore which connects 7 Indian cities namely Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Madurai, Trichy, and Vijayawada.
As India has not yet signed an air bubble agreement with Singapore, AI Express will operate these flights under the Air Bubble Agreement.
United Arab Emirates (UAE)
The maximum international flight of AI Express will be operated between India and UAE; Around 895 flights are scheduled for March 2021. These flights will be operated between Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Sharjah And Amritsar, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Madurai, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Trichy, Trivandrum, Varanasi & Vijayawada.
Air India Express has also opened the bookings for these flights and tickets can be booked from Air India Express’s official website, Call Centers, City Offices, and Authorized travel agents.
It is worth mentioning here that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on 26th February announced that the ban on commercial flights to/from India will continue until March 31 and special flights under the Air Bubble and Vande Bharat Mission will continue to operate.
The Vande Bharat Mission is currently in its Phase 9+ and Air India has scheduled to operate over 178 flights between India and Colombo, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Rome, Singapore, Sydney, Tel Aviv, and Yangon.
