Air India is making travel between India and Japan more convenient by shifting its Delhi- Tokyo flights from Narita International Airport (NRT) to Haneda Airport (HND) starting March 31, 2025.
This move significantly reduces travel time to downtown Tokyo from nearly an hour to just 30 minutes, offering passengers faster and more affordable access to the city center.
Why Haneda?
Faster, Cheaper Access to Tokyo’s Heart: Haneda Airport’s proximity to downtown Tokyo, just 18 km away, significantly reduces travel time. Passengers can reach Tokyo Station in approximately 30 minutes, cutting down on the nearly hour-long journey from Narita.
This move translates to valuable time savings and lower transportation costs. “Moving our flights to Haneda Airport is a significant advantage for our guests,” stated Nipun Aggarwal, Air India’s Chief Commercial Officer.
