Indian national carrier Air India on Friday announced that it will operate various flights between India and UK starting from May 16.
The airline in social media post informed that it will start operating flights between India’s Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, And London Heathrow.

- Flights between Delhi-London Heathrow-Delhi from16th May to 31st May’21 (Except 22nd & 29th May).
- Flights on Bengaluru-London Heathrow- Bengaluru sector: BLR- LHR -17/19/24/26 & 31 May 21. LHR-BLR -16/18/23/25 & 30 May21.
- Flights from Mumbai to London Heathrow from16th May to 30th May’21 as below. (Except 17th, 19th, 24th & 26th May).
- Flights from London Heathrow to Mumbai from17th May to 31st May’21. (Except 18th, 23rd, 25th & 30th May).
Air India further informed that those who already booked on the above-mentioned dates and wish to travel will be required to revalidate their bookings.
The airline has also opened the bookings through Air India Website, Mobile App, booking offices, Call center, and Authorised Travel agents, said Air India in a tweet.
Air India also requested all the passengers before planning their travel to check out the recent guidelines announced by UK Govt.
It will be the sole responsibility of the passengers to ensure his/her eligibility to enter the destination country. Air India will accept no liability if non-compliance results in denied boarding, said Air India in the same tweet.
It must be noted that the Health Secretary of UK Matt Hancock said starting from 0300 GMT on 23rd April, Friday, India was being added to Britain’s ‘Red List’ of countries, banning all arrivals from India except for the UK or Irish nationals.
National of British, Irish, and third-country only with residence rights (including long-term visa holders) will be allowed to enter the United Kingdom but will be required to quarantine for ten days in a government-approved hotel
