Indian flag-carrier Air India on Sunday in a social media post announced flights between Delhi and Birmingham Via Amritsar from 18th Sep to 24th Oct 2020 under Vande Bharat Mission.
Air India will operate Delhi/Amritsar to Birmingham on every Friday and Birmingham to Amritsar/Delhi on every Saturday.
The airline said that these flights are in addition to the existing flights between India and the UK. In Phase 6 of the Vande Bharat Mission, Air India has announced the schedule of a total of 97 flights between India and the UK.

Air India has also opened the bookings of the above-mentioned flights, those who wish to travel can book through Air India Website, Booking Offices, Call Centers & Authorized travel agents.
As mentioned by Air India, these flights are operating under the air transport bubble agreement between India and UK, and as per the latest guidelines by the Ministry of Home Affairs, no prior registration will be required for travel on Air Bubble flights.
