Indian national carrier Air India on Friday announced a waiver policy for flights to Muscat, Oman. This comes after the Civil Aviation Authority of Oman issued a circular and restricted the entry of Visitors From April 8.
It must be noted that entry in Sultanate of Oman has restricted only to Omani citizens and holders of residence visas issued until 05th April 2021.
Due to the above restrictions passengers holding Visit Visa, Tourist Visa, Express Visa, Business Visa, etc. will not be permitted to enter Oman till further notice.
Air India has announced the below waiver for facilitating passengers booked Air India’s flights ex-India to Muscat, Oman.
Waiver For Oman Flights
One free date change and in case same RBD not available fare difference will be charged. And in case if a passenger wants to cancel their journey, cancellation charges will be waived off.
Validity
All 098 documents for flight between India and Muscat (Oman) issued before 08th April 2021 for travel period after 1200hrs/08th April 2021 till the curbs on entry exist.
Tickets issued after 08th April 2021 will not be eligible to use the above waiver and normal penalties will apply.
