Air Bubble: Japan Airlines To Operate Flights India and Japan From April 16

Japan Airlines has announced that it will operate special flights between India and Japan From 16th April 2021 under the air bubble arrangements.

As per the schedule published by the airline, it will operate flights from India’s Delhi and Bengaluru to Japan’s Haneda and Narita

Here are the details of Japan Airlines flights scheduled From 16th April 21 to 31st May 21

However the Current Schedule remains the same. (Until 15th April 21)

DEL–HND And BLR–NRT Flights

Booking RBD/Class – Book B class and above for Economy & C class and above for Business will be open.

• Stranded Japanese Passengers and their dependents.
• All Non-Japanese Passengers holding Japan PR and its dependents will also be permitted on these flights irrespective of their nationalities Hence, Japan Airlines shall accept the booking for Indian Nationals falling in this category.
• All passengers need to obtain a Negative Covid-19Test Report with swab collection within 72 hours of JL International’s departure.
• Fresh Visas Issued by Japan Embassy under Special Circumstances.
• In addition to the Negative Covid-19 Test Report, the Passengers also need to carry the Certificate of Testing of Covid19. The Certificate must be properly filled, stamped, and signed by an authorized doctor. https://www.mofa.go.jp/ca/fna/page25e_000334.html
• All passengers have requested to input necessary information on the Questionnaire Web in advance at the departure airport, etc., and show the QR code issued to you on the website to a quarantine officer at the arrival airport. HND–DEL And NRT–BLR Flights

Booking RBD / Class – Book K class and above for Economy & D class and above for Business will be open.

• Both Indian and Japanese airlines while operating inbound flights into India can carry the following passengers:
  • Stranded Indian nationals,
  • All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders holding passports of Japan, and
  • Foreigners(including diplomats) holding valid visas issued by an Indian Mission in any category covered under Ministry Of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines, as amended from time to time.

For any other Travel restrictions imposed in the passenger’s region of stay, please refer to the Consulate & other Competent Authorities.

In case any passenger is been observed/deemed not fit to travel due to medical/or any other reason pertaining to health issues/Competent regulatory health protocol not adhered & that may be observed/assumed as to possibly impact the fellow passenger health during an ongoing pandemic, may be denied boarding at the sole discretion of Japan Airlines, hence Japan Airlines reserve the right of boarding subject to physical health evaluation.

Baggage Allowance Note – In case of the Domestic Sector, Please Note JAL applicable baggage for each cabin shall only be applicable/availed on domestic sector/airline if through fares are issued, in case of 2 separate documents, domestic Airline/carrier baggage allowance policy shall be implemented for the domestic sector.
