Abu Dhabi Announces Process For Verifying International Vaccination Certificates For Visitors

Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has announced the process for verifying international vaccination certificates for visitors to Abu Dhabi emirate.

The announcement comes after the Emirate allowed vaccinated and unvaccinated visitors from the green list and non-green list destinations to enter Abu Dhabi.

The verification of vaccination enables visitors to have green status on the Alhosn app, with only those vaccinated allowed to enter some public places in the emirate from 20 August 2021.

Verifying International Vaccination Certificates

Before Departure To Abu Dhabi
  • Register in the ‘Register Arrivals’ section of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) app or through the website: ica.gov.ae
  • Complete the register arrivals form and attach international vaccination documents.
  • The visitor will receive SMS including a link to download the Alhosn app.
On Arrival
  • Receive Unified Identification Number (UID) at the airport, or through the ICA app or website: ica.gov.ae.
Download Alhosn App
  • Register using UID and phone number used for ICA registration or when taking a PCR test in the UAE.
  • Receive OTP to complete the Alhosn registration process.

Alhosn app users can check status, vaccination information, test results, and travel test requirements and use live QR codes. For more information download the ICA app or MI visit smartservices.ica.gov.ae.
