With this, solely the Sharjah flight of Air India express remains the only flight operating from the Chandigarh International airport. In September last year also, Indigo had discontinued the Dubai flight.

Last year, Air India express force out of the Bangkok sector because of poor occupancy and losses.

An official of Indigo aforementioned, “The call to discontinue the flight within the winters was taken on Nov 13. due to bad weather, the flight is either delayed or diverted to Delhi that leads to huge loses to the carrier.”
