Emirates Airline, in an updated notice on its official website, said that it is resuming passenger flights from London Heathrow and Manchester to Dubai from today, February 2.
On January 29, Emirates “indefinitely” suspended all flights between the UK and Australia after the UK government banned air travel with the United Arab Emirates.
“From 2 February 2021, we will operate passenger flights to Dubai from London Heathrow and Manchester,” said the airline on Feb 1 in its updated notification.
Note that these services are one-way only passenger flights, as the UAE is currently on the UK government’s “red list” of banned destinations.
The Dubai-based carrier said on its website that passengers looking to leave the UK should be aware of quarantine arrangements that may face them at their destination.
